Two years postdoc speech extraction at Google/EBIRE
A position is available for one postdoctoral research associate to work on algorithms for analysis of complex multi-source acoustic displays, involving extraction of speech and other sources using both auditory models and sparse function coding. The work is a two-year joint project between Google and EBIRE with a January 1, 2007 starting date. National ICT Australia (NICTA), Canberra Lab, have open post-doc, researcher, and senior researcher positions in the area of reinforcement learning (RL). These positions have been created to expand the current RL group within NICTAs Statistical Machine Learning Program (http://sml.nicta.com.au/), headed by Dr Alex Smola. The current RL group consists of Dr Douglas Aberdeen, Dr Olivier Buffet, plus a research engineer and students.
